These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Carvills Furnishings Ltd Website.  If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this Website.  Your continued use of this Website confirms your acceptance of these terms.

Shipping:

We offer Standard UK Mainland Delivery; details are as follows:

 

Delivered in 2 - 3 working days with £5.95 delivery charge, with the exception of items marked as Click & Collect only or detailed as being subject to an extra delivery charge.

 

Delivered Monday - Friday (excluding bank or public holidays).  

 

Delivery is free when you spend over £50, with the exception of items marked as Click & Collect only or detailed as being subject to an extra delivery charge.

 

British Islands, Northern Ireland: Delivery costs £12.95 and is not subject to free delivery over £50.

 

Please note that office hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Orders placed after 4pm or during the weekend will be processed at the first possible opportunity on the next working day.  Please take this into consideration when counting days until delivery.

 

As with all postal services, delay can occur.  Estimated delivery times are a guideline only and we cannot guarantee deliveries will arrive within these delivery windows.

Additional Shipping information:

You will have the opportunity to leave delivery instructions at the checkout.  Please ensure you have left any necessary details.

 

Unless instructed otherwise our couriers may accept signatures from any person at the delivery address. Our couriers have no way of distinguishing between authorised and unauthorised persons. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure their premises is inaccessible to anyone not authorised to accept delivery. If an item is for the attention of a specific person please state this prior to the orders dispatch. Packages may however be left with a neighbour for your convenience. If this is inappropriate please bring this to our attention prior to dispatch.

 

If the premises are unmanned at the point of delivery Carvills Furnishings Ltd are not responsible for losses caused by poor storage conditions, insufficient security, unauthorised access etc at the requested delivery location.

 

Packaging: 

In line with our policy to try to minimise waste we will reuse and recycle as much packaging as possible so please do not be offended if the wrapping within your parcel looks like it has been used before because it probably has!

VAT   Where applicable all prices quoted on our website are inclusive of value added tax at the rate set by the British Government.

Ordering 

Orders on the site are subject to stock availability.  Items added to your basket on the site will not be reserved for you, and are available for sale to other customers browsing the online store at the same time.  

We will send you an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order.  This email is an order acknowledgement and does not mean that we accept your order.  We may reject your order if the goods are out of stock or unavailable, we cannot authorise your payment or there has been a mistake on pricing or description of the goods.  If the goods are not available, you will be notified by email and the item will be refunded.

A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will be formed when your payment has been approved, the prices have been verified, and the order has been processed and dispatched. 

 A second email will be sent confirming these arrangements and you will not have ownership of the goods until they have been dispatched.

Returns: 

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not. You can return a product for up to 14 days from the date you purchased it.  This does not affect your statutory rights.  Please either contact us on 01825 763456 or email sales@carvills.co.uk to obtain a Returns Number.  Ensure you clearly label your parcel including the Returns Number and advise us that you are planning to return an item.

Please allow up to 2 weeks once you have sent your parcel for the refund to be credited.

We are unable to supply a free return option, unless goods are defective, or we have made an error in dispatch.

 

Exchanges & Faulty Goods:

We are happy to exchange any item. Please contact us by email at sales@carvills.com or by phone 01825 763456 and explain the nature of the problem. 

On receipt of the unwanted item, we will send a replacement out, subject to availability. If the item was incorrectly dispatched by us, we will cover all transit costs, this also applies to the replacement of faulty goods. 

 

Payment System:

All payments made to Carvills Furnishings Ltd online are taken and managed via a secure encrypted payment gateway by Wix.com we DO NOT hold payment details of any customer in our database.
